Oggi è il 24 novembre. 16 anni fa si spense quasi allì improvviso un’ uomo che con il suo lavoro, la sua passione per la vita e la sua grandezza, ha cambiato profondamente il mondo della musica ed anche un pò il nostro.Vorrei ricordare qui oggi il contributo che ha dato, regalandoci alcune delle canzoni + belle della storia della musica che rimarrano per sempre impresse nella nostra memoria legate a qualche ricordo particolare o a qualche emozione che abbiamo provato nel momento in cui la sua musica è penetrata dentro di noi…Sto parlando di Farrokh Bulsara alias Freddie Mercury, morto il 24 novembre del 1991 a causa di una broncopolmonite causata dall’ AIDS che il cantante aveva contratto…Personalmente posso dire che la sua voce e le sue canzoni mi accompagnano da molto tempo e ormai fanno parte del mio dna, come le emozioni che mi hanno regalato…Tante sono state le critiche, i discorsi e quant’ altro, io dico però che almeno per rispetto suo, soprattutto perchè non è più in mezzo a noi, dovremmo starcene zitti e trovare nel silenzio ciò che sentiamo veramente, perchè a volte la musica è la voce dell’ anima…

Fra 2 giorni si celebreranno i 16 anni dalla morte di Freddie Mercury. Essendo un fan-ultra-stra-accanito sarà un giorno speciale, di “lutto”…Vi aspetto per ricordare un’ uomo che ha cambiato profondamente la musica in generale e che mi ha accompagnato con le sue canzoni per gran parte della mia vita…Da lassù forse sta leggendo queste righe…
